Your Hands
I dream of yesterday,
When your hand was here in mine.
The world was soft, the skies were clear,
And time would bend and shine.
Now the air is cold,
The streets are gray.
I chase the light,
But it fades away.
I dream of the day your hands are in mine again,
When the sun of your love will rise and never end.
I miss your warmth, I miss your light,
The world is dark without you by my side.
Every shadow whispers your name,
Every breeze feels the same.
I reach for you through the night,
But only dreams can touch your flame.
Now the air is cold,
The streets are gray.
I chase the light,
But it fades away.
Oh, take me back to that golden hour,
Where your touch healed every doubt and fear.
I’ll wait through storms, through endless hours,
Till your hand is holding mine here.
I dream of the day your hands are in mine again,
When the sun of your love will rise and never end.
I miss your warmth, I miss your light,
The world is dark without you by my side.
