Red Wine and Love
I sip salvation by candlelight,
Red wine and love, my sacred rite.
Confession drips from trembling lips,
Each kiss a hymn, each touch a bliss.
We danced through ruin, we laughed through ache,
Turned heartbreak into a holy wake.
If Eden burned, let fire remain,
We’ll build a garden out of pain.
No judgment, no shame, only divine decay,
A sacred mess in the softest way.
Stained in grace, not washed in white,
Our haloes shimmer in the night.
Raise your glass, my reckless dove,
Toast the gospel of red wine and love.
Every sinner, saint, and soul set free,
Finds heaven here, in you and me.
