Happiness
Happiness is often mistaken for the people with whom we share our lives, when, in truth, the meaning, purpose, and happiness of life are manifested through Sacred Union.
Marriage is the sacred union of two who become one—not through the surrender or erasure of their individual selves, but through the joining of their lives, their purposes, and their existence in the creation of something greater than either could manifest alone.
It is within this sacred union that two become co-creators of life and the begetters of happiness. Through their union, they bring forth meaning, cultivate purpose, nurture life, and manifest happiness that extends beyond themselves into the world and, ultimately, into all of creation.
Happiness, therefore, is not merely something one person possesses or another person provides. It is something begotten through the sacred bond between two, brought into manifestation through their shared existence, and extended outward through the life they create together.
In Sacred Union, two become one; in becoming one, they become creators; and through their creative union, happiness is begotten and manifested as a gift to all creation.
For the sacred purpose of marriage is not simply that two people should find happiness in one another, but that through their union, they should become the living manifestation of happiness itself: creating, nurturing, and extending the goodness of their union into the world they share.
Thus, marriage is not merely the sharing of a life. It is the sacred joining of two lives into a generative unity through which the meaning, purpose, and happiness of existence are brought into manifestation.
