THE ABSOLUTE SOVEREIGNTY - OF THE SACREDNO INSTITUTION. NO AUTHORITY. NO TRESPASS AGAINST CONSCIENCE.
THE ABSOLUTE SOVEREIGNTY
OF THE SACRED
NO INSTITUTION. NO AUTHORITY. NO TRESPASS AGAINST CONSCIENCE.
Sincere religious conviction, sacred agreements, and Divine relationships are inviolable within the sovereignty of spiritual life.
No institution possesses spiritual authority to redefine another person’s faith, invalidate sacred commitments, dictate the terms of a person’s relationship with the Divine, or compel the abandonment of sincere religious convictions.
No declaration of irrationality, dysfunction, limitation, unhealthiness, or nonconformity confers such authority.
What is sacred is not rendered profane by institutional disapproval.
What is sincerely believed is not invalidated by disagreement.
What is divinely held is not surrendered by institutional demand.
Conscience is not institutional property. Faith is not a privilege bestowed by an organization. A Divine relationship is not an appointment that another authority may revoke. A sacred agreement is not subject to unilateral cancellation by an unrelated institution.
Religious conviction is not an invitation to intervention, correction, conversion, or compulsory reinterpretation.
There is no inherent entitlement to ownership over another person’s spiritual life.
There is no inherent authority to trespass upon another person’s conscience.
There is no legitimate spiritual dominion established merely through institutional power.
Religious sovereignty encompasses the lived expression of faith throughout mortal existence: daily conduct, sacred relationships, personal commitments, the ordering of the household, the observance of religious obligations, and the continuous enactment of one’s relationship with the Divine.
These are not merely abstract ideas to be tolerated at a distance.
They are the living substance of religious existence.
To demand the abandonment of sincere religious convictions merely because they offend another’s judgment is to demand the surrender of something that does not belong to the demanding party.
No institution owns another person’s soul.
No authority possesses inherent dominion over another person’s conscience.
No power becomes sacred merely by claiming the right to command.
THE BOUNDARY OF THE SACRED IS ABSOLUTE.
CONSCIENCE IS NOT INSTITUTIONAL PROPERTY.
FAITH IS NOT SUBJECT TO INSTITUTIONAL REDEFINITION.
SACRED AGREEMENTS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO UNAUTHORIZED NEGATION.
DIVINE RELATIONSHIPS ARE NOT THE POSSESSION OF INSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY.
SPIRITUAL LIFE IS NOT SUBJECT TO APPROPRIATION, COMPULSION, OR ERASURE.
WHAT IS SACRED IS NOT SUBJECT TO COMMAND.
WHAT IS DIVINE IS NOT SUBJECT TO POSSESSION.
WHAT IS CONSECRATED IS NOT SUBJECT TO PROFANATION BY THE UNAUTHORIZED.
The sacred is lived, not licensed.
Conscience is inherent, not bestowed.
Faith is practiced, not surrendered.
